How to Use

Allow the engine to cool completely before opening the radiator or expansion tank cap.

Drain the cooling system and flush with clean water until the drain runs clear.

Fill with the product as supplied to the MAX mark on the expansion tank – do not dilute.

Run the engine to operating temperature with the heater on maximum to purge trapped air.

Let it cool, then re-check and top up to MAX; top up only with the same product.

Replace every 5 years or 250,000 km. Do not mix with silicated (IAT) or hybrid coolants.

SOLVAR Engine Coolant ULTRA (Red 33 %) is a ready-to-use, pre-diluted coolant built on mono ethylene glycol and a long-life Organic Acid Technology (OAT) inhibitor package. OAT carboxylate inhibitors deposit selectively only where corrosion actually starts, so they are consumed far more slowly than conventional inhibitors. The result is up to 5 years or 250,000 km of protection instead of the yearly change a traditional coolant needs, with freeze protection to −18 °C and boil-over protection to about 125 °C under a 0.9 bar pressure cap. The formula is free of silicates, phosphates, borates, nitrites and amines. Silicate-free chemistry eliminates the gel formation and abrasive drop-out that shortens water-pump seal life in hot climates, and makes the coolant fully compatible with modern all-aluminium radiators, cylinder heads and heater cores.
