How to Use

Wear acid-resistant gloves and goggles / face shield; always add the concentrate to water, never the reverse.

Dilute 1:3–1:5 for heavy oxidation, 1:5–1:8 for chassis and truck bodies, up to 1:10 for maintenance cleaning.

Pre-rinse with water and work on a cool surface out of direct sunlight; test on a hidden area first.

Apply with an acid-resistant sprayer or brush from bottom to top and let it react for 30–90 seconds only – do not let it dry.

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water (pressure washer), including nearby paint, glass and rubber.

Store the concentrate locked up in its closed plastic container at 5–35 °C, away from alkalis, bleach and children.

SOLVAR ALUM-X is a high-performance acidic cleaner and brightener for raw aluminum and aluminum alloys, supplied in 1 L, 5 L and 20 L containers for car wash centres, truck and fleet workshops and industrial users. A blend of phosphoric and hydrochloric acid, activated with a trace of hydrofluoric acid, dissolves aluminum oxide, white rust, scale, mineral deposits, brake dust and heavy road contamination in just 30–90 seconds and restores the original bright metal. HEDP chelates hard-water and metal ions to stop re-deposition, a benzotriazole inhibitor protects the base metal during the short contact time, and an anionic / non-ionic surfactant package wets and lifts oily soils. The pink concentrate dilutes 1:3 for heavy oxidation and up to 1:10 for maintenance cleaning – ideal for chassis and undercarriage parts, truck bodies, tankers, trailers and uncoated alloy wheels.
