How to Use

Wear gloves and eye protection; keep the concentrate off skin and clothing.

Dilute with water: 1:3–1:5 for heavy engine and chassis deposits, 1:10 general, up to 1:20 for floors.

Never apply to a hot engine – let it cool, and cover exposed electrics and the alternator.

Spray or brush on and let it dwell 3–5 minutes without drying.

Agitate stubborn deposits, then rinse thoroughly with water from the top down.

Rinse quickly on aluminium and bare alloy; store sealed at 5–35 °C, away from acids.
Product Details
SOLVAR Super Max Degreaser is the heaviest-duty cleaner in the SOLVAR range, supplied as a concentrate in 1 L and 5 L containers.
Its builder and surfactant package attacks deposits that ordinary cleaners cannot shift: baked engine oil, gear oil, chassis grease, carbon, fuel and diesel residue, hydraulic oil and the black film that builds up on workshop floors and machinery. The concentrate is diluted to the job – around 1:3 to 1:5 for the worst engine and chassis deposits, 1:10 for general degreasing, and up to 1:20 for floors and routine cleaning – so one container replaces several ready-to-use products.
It emulsifies the oil so it rinses away with water instead of smearing, and it works by hand, brush, foam gun or pressure washer. Being strongly alkaline it is intended for steel, iron, concrete and painted machinery; rinse quickly on aluminium and bare alloy, and always wear gloves and eye protection.
