How to Use

Work on cool wheels in the shade – never on hot brakes or in direct sun.

Rinse loose dirt off the wheel first.

Spray generously over the face, barrel and behind the spokes.

Wait 2–4 minutes until the product bleeds red; do not let it dry on the surface.

Agitate with a soft wheel brush, especially around the bolt holes and lug area.

Rinse thoroughly with water and dry; repeat on heavily contaminated wheels.

SOLVAR Rim & Wheel Cleaner 600 ml is a ready-to-use, pH-neutral wheel cleaner with an iron-dissolving colour-change indicator.
Hot brake dust embeds itself in the wheel finish as metallic iron particles that ordinary shampoo cannot lift; left there, they oxidise and stain alloys permanently. This formula reacts with those particles and converts them into a soluble compound, bleeding a deep red-purple as it works so you can see exactly where the contamination is. Everything then rinses away with water.
Because it is acid-free and pH neutral it is safe on alloy, painted, chrome, powder-coated, anodised and clear-coated wheels as well as on brake calipers, and it will not etch the finish or dull polished lips the way acid cleaners do. Also effective on exhaust tips, wheel arches and paintwork contaminated by rail or industrial fallout. Manufactured by CHEMIX LAB – New Borg El Arab, Alexandria, Egypt.
