How to Use

Rinse the car with water first, working in the shade on a cool surface.

Dilute according to soiling: about 1:20 for heavy road film and 1:50 for routine pre-wash.

Apply from the bottom up with a foam gun, lance or arch and cover the whole car.

Let it dwell 2–4 minutes – never let it dry on the paint.

Rinse thoroughly from the top down with a pressure washer.

Follow with a contact wash or snow foam if required; store sealed at 5–35 °C.

SOLVAR Pure Glide is a concentrated alkaline pre-wash supplied in 1 L, 5 L and 20 L containers for touch-free and automatic car wash systems.
In a touch-free wash there is no mechanical action, so the chemistry has to do all the work. Pure Glide’s alkaline builder and surfactant blend penetrates and lifts the bonded layer of road film, traffic oil, diesel soot, brake dust and dried-on dirt that ordinary shampoo leaves behind, breaking its grip on the paint so a pressure rinse carries it away. Used as a pre-wash before a contact wash, it removes the abrasive particles that cause swirl marks.
It foams well through a foam gun, lance or arch, rinses without residue, and its low-foam-carryover behaviour makes it suitable for water-recycling installations. Gentle on paint, chrome, plastic, rubber and alloy wheels when used at the recommended dilution and not allowed to dry on the surface.
